{"id":469,"date":"2008-12-21T22:53:13","date_gmt":"2008-12-21T22:53:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/teresasweetphotography.wordpress.com\/?p=469"},"modified":"2008-12-21T22:53:13","modified_gmt":"2008-12-21T22:53:13","slug":"paying-it-forward-for-military-families","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.teresasweetphotography.com\/blog\/paying-it-forward-for-military-families\/","title":{"rendered":"Paying It Forward: For Military Families&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-472\" title=\"olr_logo\" src=\"https:\/\/www.teresasweetphotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/olr_logo.jpg\" alt=\"olr_logo\" width=\"497\" height=\"310\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.teresasweetphotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/olr_logo.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.teresasweetphotography.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/olr_logo-300x187.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 497px) 100vw, 497px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>YAY!\u00a0 I&#8217;m so excited.\u00a0 I wrote a post (see below this entry) about being accepted to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.littlestheroesproject.org\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><span style=\"color:#1b55a1;\">Littlest Heroes Project<\/span><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and just about a week ago, I was accepted to be a part of the photography team for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oplove.org\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><span style=\"color:#1b55a1;\">Operation: Love ReUnited<\/span><\/strong><\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>These are both WONDERFUL organizations and OpLove is for any military families that have loved ones that are deploying, deployed or returning home.\u00a0 As a wife of a former Marine, I know how difficult it can be to be away from your loved one&#8230;even moreso, if you have little\u00a0ones waiting for Mommy or Daddy or another family member to come home.<\/p>\n<p><em>(The following is taken from the OpLove website to further explain what this is about):<\/em><\/p>\n<p>If you are a member or family member of the United States Military, and are interested in having very special and touching images with a patriotic edge taken of you and\/or your family before a deployment or during, and at your reunion, please contact a photographer in your area now.\u00a0 You will receive a substantial package as a gift in appreciation for all you have been through as a military member.\u00a0 The package will always include a 4&#215;6 album of pre-deployment images, such as a child\u2019s hand clasped in his parent\u2019s with the faint glimpse of a BDU sleeve, a marine in dress with his family, a salior with his parents right before departure, or a child playing dress up in combat boots and a helmet.\u00a0 The album will be sent to the deployed soldier by the photographer, at no cost to you.\u00a0 Also with your package, all session fees will be waived.\u00a0 Your photographer may have a designated package or other options for Operation: Love ReUnited participants at their discretion with a signed model release.<\/p>\n<p>If you are in the military or have a loved one serving, I HIGHLY encourage you to take a look at their website and find a local photographer near you.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oplove.org\/\"><strong><span style=\"color:#1b55a1;\">www.oplove.org<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>For any photographers who may not be a part of this and read this, I highly encourage you to join this organization as well.\u00a0 Because in my eyes&#8230;it&#8217;s the least we can do for those putting their lives on the line for our freedom!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>YAY!\u00a0 I&#8217;m so excited.\u00a0 I wrote a post (see below this entry) about being accepted to the Littlest Heroes Project\u00a0and just about a week ago, I was accepted to be a part of the photography team for Operation: Love ReUnited!
