When people are asked what their favorite holiday is, many will say Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween\u2026while those are close in the top favorites for me (especially Halloween, haha), my absolute FAVORITE day of the year is Mother\u2019s Day.\u00a0 As a mother of three young boys, I know how important it is to capture these special moments in your life because before you know it, in a blink of an eye, it will be 10 years later and you\u2019ll be thinking to yourself, \u201cwhere did the time go?\u201d<\/p>\n

One of the most amazing people in my life is my mother\u2026there truly is nothing like a mother\u2019s love.\u00a0 She is the backbone of the family, a firm voice when needed, but a heart of gold and full of love all the time.\u00a0 A mother\u2019s comfort always makes you feel secure and brightens your day no matter what mood you\u2019re in.\u00a0 I know that if I even have a few days where I don\u2019t call or visit my mom, it\u2019s amazing how much I miss seeing her or talking to her.\u00a0 I\u2019ve always looked up to her and still to this day, I know that if I can be even close to the kind of mother she has been to my brothers and I, I will know that I\u2019ve done well and will be proud.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Email tj_sweet@verizon.net<\/a> of why you feel you, your Mom, or a Mom you know, deserves a complimentary portrait session (please include their full name, email address and home address so I can mail them the gift certificate).\u00a0 Please put “Mother’s Day Contest” in the subject line.\u00a0 Feel free to email me a photo as well to add to your story.<\/p>\n

2. You can either nominate yourself or another deserving Mom<\/p>\n

3. The session must take place in Rhode Island and within the month of May.\u00a0 Session is for up to four subjects (additional subject are allowed but will be $15 per person).<\/p>\n
