There are many important people in my life but one of them celebrates their birthday this month. My loving mother. There are so many words to describe my mom, but giving, selfless and compassionate are ones that come to mind. Because she and my father adopted me at the age of 3, I truly could not imagine where I would be today if it were not for them.
